The video has gone viral and has been featured by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodmorningamerica.com\/living\/story\/kids-congratulate-mom-dissertation-defense-adorable-65797806\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Good Morning America<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/human-interest\/kids-celebrate-moms-dissertation-defense-dance-video\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">People<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.insideedition.com\/kids-give-mom-sweet-surprise-when-she-finishes-her-dissertation-56289\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CBS<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, after Hall spent 30 minutes defending her dissertation, she walked out of the room to find her three kids, ages 7, 6 and 4, lined up and ready to dance. Hall&#8217;s children performed a choreographed dance to the song &#8220;We Did It&#8221; by 1K Phew.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Y\u2019all my kids sat quietly + listened intently during my dissertation defense&#8230;AND surprised me with a performance to congratulate me after I learned I passed. I\u2019ve had a ton of roadblocks but I am nothing if not determined. For my family, especially my kids, to see me start and finish this journey is such a blessing.
