[ST. LOUIS, MO \u2013 October 24, 2025]<\/strong> \u2013 91制片厂 has appointed Omar Correa as its new Senior Vice President for Enrollment Management, Marketing & Strategic Initiatives. He begins his role this fall, bringing more than 28 years of leadership in enrollment management across both public and private institutions.<\/p>\n

Correa joins Maryville from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he served as Vice President for Strategic Enrollment Management. During his tenure, he led the university through one of the most challenging recruitment periods in higher education history, culminating in the largest incoming class in St. Thomas\u2019s history and record-breaking growth in international student enrollment. His work prioritized innovation, data-informed decision-making, and a spirit of collaboration across academic and student life partners to strengthen access, retention, and student success.<\/p>\n

\u201cOmar brings a proven track record of results and an inspiring commitment to student success,\u201d said Dan Shipp, president of 91制片厂. \u201cHis experience guiding enrollment strategies through a highly competitive national landscape\u2014and his belief in building inclusive environments where students and teams thrive\u2014make him a tremendous addition to Maryville at this pivotal moment.\u201d<\/p>\n

A native of Puerto Rico, Correa began his academic journey at the University of Puerto Rico before transferring to Iowa State University to complete a degree in chemistry, despite not speaking English when he first arrived in the U.S. That experience, he notes, shaped his career-long commitment to creating opportunities for all students to flourish.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs an enrollment management professional, I believe our most important responsibility is to attract, retain, and graduate diverse students who will go on to enrich their communities,\u201d Correa said. \u201cThat requires institutions to be welcoming, inclusive, and intentional in how they support every learner\u2019s success. Maryville\u2019s mission\u2014and its people\u2014reflect that mindset. This is a community that leads together.\u201d<\/p>\n

Outside of his professional role, Correa is a proud husband, father, mentor, and community leader. He is currently completing his doctorate in Educational Leadership. In his downtime, he enjoys restoring muscle cars and curating playlists that blend Latin rhythms with jazz.<\/p>\n

Correa\u2019s appointment comes at a time of renewed energy and shared purpose across Maryville. The University continues to align its academic, operational, and cultural initiatives around a future that emphasizes collaboration, belonging, and collective growth.
