Joshua Milenbach\u2019s search for the perfect university that offered a well-connected sport business management program and an opportunity to continue his faith led the California resident to the Midwest. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt came down to University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington, or 91制片厂,\u201d says Milenbach. \u201cOf course, I decided to come to Maryville. I also chose this university because it was on the smaller side and I knew it would have that \u2018family\u2019 feel. I think the best quality Maryville has is that it is a small enough campus to where I know a lot of people, but I also have the incredible opportunity to meet new people every day.\u201d<\/p>\n

Milenbach, who is double majoring in Rawlings Sport Business Management and Financial Services, also praised Maryville\u2019s numerous student organization options. Maryville offers over 100 student organizations from social awareness clubs to spiritual organizations and more. <\/p>\n

\u201cHaving Maryville offer these types of organization is crucial for diversity and inclusion,\u201d says Milenbach. \u201cThis is because it makes minorities feel more welcomed and included on campus.\u201d<\/p>\n

He joined Maryville Hillel as a freshman. <\/p>\n

\u201cI joined Maryville Hillel because I wanted to have some friends right off the bat,\u201d says Milenbach. \u201cThis organization has not only helped me find friends, but has helped me grow my Jewish family.\u201d<\/p>\n

As a member of Hillel, Milenbach participates in events such as Challal for Hunger Bake, the Jewish Cultural Food Fest and Chocolate Seder while also attending services. <\/p>\n

\u201cI knew that I wanted to bring my Jewish background into college and embrace who I am and Maryville\u2019s Hillel allows me to do so,\u201d says Milenbach. \u201cBy having all of us from around the country come together and bond makes me feel so honored to be a part of the Jewish community.\u201d<\/p>\n
